Begin using MSWord to type basic sentences and paragraphs.

 

Learn to save in a personal folder.

 

Become proficient in using the basics of MSWord.

Be able to type, change fonts, change sizes, format documents and paragraphs, spell check, save, and print.


 

6.  Students should experience a multi-media presentation.

View at least one multi-media presentation done by the computer teacher.

Regularly view multi-media presentations by the computer teacher.

Do their own slide show using Kid Pix.

Make and present a basic slide show using Power Point.

Make and present a more complex slide show using Power Point.

Incorporate digital photos, scanned documents, and other media into a Power Point presentation.

 

7.  Students are able to manage their technology independently.

Students enter and leave the lab correctly.
